I didn’t want to have to write this post, and have held of for 3 weeks now, but realise its kinda time as its all out of my hands now. The amazing Sally Reynolds has left, in every sense of the word- she has moved to London to pursue her dream of working in Fashion and is already making big moves at 125 Magazine- and unfortunately no longer wants to be my muse, model, gal or do the Vanity Project. I know many of you have followed my images and writings on her for the past 4 years, and some of you have recently mailed asking if its okay to shoot her, as she is very much ‘my model’ but please just contact her direct now, she isn’t a DarkDaze model, just doesn’t want to be again, and now there is no more DD as a result.

I cannot get the words to describe how much she has changed my work and what an incredible privileged journey it has been- from the day she moved herself into my flat without actually telling me, to 4 years later when she left. She has been the greatest encouragement, inspiration and is a really good model too- I owe her more than I can ever really get out here but its there in the words and images.

I cant really say anymore without getting all choked up and driving my head through the monitor, so to save that happening I’ll just say some will know, the muse is a huge thing to carry off, but damn she did it with panache, from hating having her picture taking to 4 years later being the most outgoing, confident model i have worked with.

Please go support her 125 Gallery shop in London, and if you book her for shoots make sure you do a damn good job, cos you’ll have a lot to live up to. She’s shot with me for 4 years straight, Louie Banks, Sam Hiscox, Noah Kalina and Rankin- that’s a hard act for you to all follow- but good luck- she’ll make it easy for you and shes looking to build up a new portfolio now. Just hurry before she gets covered in ink…

We will of course still be booking her for our Garage Studios courses, as she’s gold in front of the lens, professional, stunning and hard working too, and I will now get more people working on the book of my images of her, (though I need a damn good picture editor if anyones interested…) which I hope to have out in the next few months – but that’s it no more Sally F***ing Reynolds and DarkDaze….. She has 2 blogs, go follow them and wait till you see her completely takeover London- I swear it wont be too long. Laters Kev x
