Dark Daze photography blog

Well blog updates abound huh…. so as you may know from the site last week I have an evening shoot with Sophie, she has modelled a bit before, in the INSA shoot for me and other peeps, but I wanted to get some simple Black and White shots for her portfolio and for the Garage Studio book.

I have collected a few of them here, so you can see what kind of thing we can do for you if you are looking for a modelling portfolio, or you have one already and just want to make it better. (And I am not talking one of those nasty Model Mayhem, “i’ll shoot you, but its gotta be topless or implied nude” kinda flexes, its not the 80’s again for real people, it was just a clothing revival- you can be sure we and the crew know what we are doing here…. )

This was all shot in a few hours, we had some excellent new Hair and Make-up people and used Stevi and Emma from Ophelia Fancy for the pared down but striking styling.

There are a few different outfits to make a series, but I have just picked a few images here that work… and there are a few different colour tonings going on- just more to see what it looks like ya know…

I have thrown some of the outtakes in here as well just so there is something dope to look at- after all no-one likes readin cos it been done bad for your brain….

So this is Sophie looking fly, occasionally busting poses, sometimes just being modellish…. (nice word i know)…..
